yeah, say you've got a really ambient and flowing part of a track with no bass you can hear the beats but the 'auto' bpm counter is flashing at you and wont determine the beat, tap four beats and you'll roughly know the bpm of that section; and can line up the other track accordingly.

TAP allows you to tap the beat yourself 1 2 3 4- tap tap tap tap, it's a little more accurate, you'd use it when you can hear the beat and the auto BPM calculater can't.

yea i'll waatch it too and take what seems to be the most correct statements that coincide with my way of thinking but i still pay attention to all of it... if that makes sense, can't remember the guys name name though

it's a chinese based company so i'd say spam... and they're advertising pitch is all wrong they mostly sell jordan's and then on they're home page they've a dosen new arrival nike's. Don't you just love unecessary advertising

it's an excellent system, haven't any real problems with it, when i bought it one of the speakers had been dropped and the horn driver had smashed the bass driver, it's also been in for a service because we got a xlr cable stuck in it and it stopped pumping bass from the sub-they fixed it gave it a clean out replaced the fans, now it works great, a friend and me bought 2 of the last 3 systems available in adelaide... got our eyes on the last 1

it depends on the repairer aswell, i had a heap of trouble getting my trouble maker repaired under warranty... but that's off topic, if you bought it from an ebay store they should have some sort of repair policy, if you bought it privately ask them if they have the receipt still the worst they can say is no.

my mates got djm 400, there's no fader just the simple on/off touch button's but... with most headphones that have a split switch on them (mono/stereo) they split the master to 1 ear and track to the other

hi all, i recently bought a couple of numark tt500's and the counter weights were on backwards, all pretty balanced but still backwards. i've noticed looking at pics of people's set ups some have them the normal way and some have them backwards; Could someone please shed some light on this whole situation? Note: i've returned them to how they were meant to be set but it's still doing my head in.
