ok everyone i know this will sound weird but the other night i had a dream and in that dream i was on stage and my dj name was called in the intro. now i tend to pay attention to my dreams as i've done alot of meditation and the like, and everytime i've had a dream and listened to it things have progressed towards much further in the way i have wanted. so because of this i will be using the alias GENETIC when performing. has anyone heard of a dj in aus usiong that name before?

hahaha i just asked my friend if he could get me some programs when he is over there in a few weeks so i guess now the question is WHICH PROGRAMS DO I GET HIM TO GET? obviously ableton is a high priority and i'm not sure about reason yet haven't had too much experience with it. any others?

you tube is a good start it depends on what you want to learn?

just make a copy of what you would play, only about 30 mins give or take 5-10 mins, think of what sort of music they have in their club and go with what will keep people dancing and drinking. it's unfortunate that this is what you need to do if you want to have residency, but i know alot of dj's that play one thing for the crowd and another for the public

how much did you pay for them? and what ones i'd love to get ableton cheap

yeah right a real christian what the fuck does that have to do with the world of business. any business that won't do business through paypal are whales. unless you can actually go to the store and beat the shit out of someone when your stuff doesn't arrive paypal is the only way to be safe, because they have a dispute resolution centre, which i have used and the process is really straight foward. when i paid for my setup i had to wait 8 weeks for the decks and mixer to come in, jb hifi hated me by the end of it cos i was in there everyday asking whats going on

yeah this is true. alot of the time you can hear so many mistake in an hour but the crowd don't care, and you can tell when the dj isn't feeling it either sloppy transitions or the excessive use of spin backs
