  3. hi guys i'm thinking of selling off my pioneer efx 500 as i don't really use it anymore. It's silver and comes in a padded aluminium travel case. All offers considered. Adelaide pickup prefered
  4. i was a little dissappointed when i went into jb hifi last to see that they had gotten rid of all their pioneer display gear except for cdj's and replaced with numark gear
  5. much respect, as soon as my daughter can comprehend what's happening and i de comission (upgrade) i'll be getting her set up
  6. you are looking at around 70 or 80kg in weight if that helps
  7. i love the original art work the graff style one
  8. practical side was self taught, the concepts and thoery of it was learn't from reading
  9. you could make it that people that help contribute to keep the site running get access
  10. yeah they are worth the price considering 2 things, when they were first released they retailed for around $3000, and secondly to get something of the same quality you are looking at around $2000, also there are a few of these on ebay recently and they're all going for around 1400-2000 mark
  11. awesome equipment, i own a set and recommend these to anyone that wants a good quality pa system
  12. he's not getting the finances till xmas unfortunately, so if you still have them then he'll be interested but at this price they won't stay around for long
  13. my mate saw mine and want's some of his own now i'll get in contact with him for you
  14. yeah i know what you mean but after a while they loosen up
  15. also you can get rotary's for djm800 i'm curious to see if they are interchangable for the 700
  16. i recenlty got a stanton rm80 and i don't like the feel of the faders and was thinking of buying rotary knobs for it. should find someone with a djm3000 and see if they've switched to rotary,
  17. yeah i wouldn't be too sure of your statement there i bought my head phones from a legitmate pioneer retailer, and they have silver extensions
  18. picked up for 745 and it's got a stanton mixer too
  19. everyone stop looking i found one on ebay it's getting here in 2 days.
  20. i recommend hdj1000's from pioneer, i've had mine for over 2 years still work excellent, have taken these out bush, they block sound, and you can pick them up on ebay for a decent price- usually under the 200 mark, be carefull though there are some what i believe to be knock off's, these usually have black extensions instead of silver, although i have not confirmed this with pioneer.
  21. go the 800's i've got no complaints, and you can do alot of similar stuff to the 1000's if you know how to set your cue points in memory,
  22. yeah seriously man just get them to loan you the money and pay them back or alternativly speak to the place that has payment through certegy (it's either dj warehouse or store dj) get your parents to get it through that and you pay back, i bought my bed using certegy and the repayments were 290 a month on 6500 of 18 months

    CDJ 2000

see i find this interesting, the conversion rate from GBP to AU$ is usually about 2.5 as a rough guess, but the aus relase of this the price has been set at 2600; and the same with the american price it's about $2-2.5k- it would seem that pioneer are releasing it at an affordably but profitable expense across the world
  24. both learn't with cdj's and went to vinyl after to work on my beatmatching
  25. welcome man
