  1. ahh you will always be the true DefKon in my mind brah the messing with names thing has been done a fair bit but I always thought "Brosef Ballin" would be sick, maybe its offensive but might turn some heads or like DJ Wicked West or Dj Pound Town Savage Sounds Sack Attack K.O. Killa Slayzer Deadlift shit man this is hard
  2. BOOM http://soundcloud.com/sweetish http://www.facebook.com/SweetishSounds
  3. ridiculously fast closed hats, a vocal of your producer name right at the start and tons of this sample
  4. Found a clip of this remix for Halo 4 and thought it was pretty dope http://www1.rollingstone.com/hearitnow/ ... vidge.html
  5. Yeah Sol, I gotcha and Im not trying to get on ya or be defensive about the product Its some pretty out there claims but for someone who doesn't have a lot of money or knowledge but does have the enthusiasm, I think the ads would do pretty well. And as Tomy eluded to, imagine being off your mind and hearing that you can sound like Kanye West without having to do any work, all in the comfort of your own home. Sound pretty good to me brosef
  6. Honestly I think this is perfect for their target audience. Some people have never produced before and don't have the time or interest to learn professional software but just want to be a little creative and have some fun. Of course they are going to hype up their product but its not like they're hiding anything, none of the tracks in the demo videos sound very good. I started out with a shitty analogue drum sequencer in high school and had a blast so big ups to anyone that has fun with it.
  7. For anyone trying to get gnarly bass sounds that hasnt tried vocoding yet, check out this video Ive been messing around with it today and its pretty fun http://soundcloud.com/sweetish/lolwut
  8. my favorite part is when nobody notices a mix that I thought was difficult but then they go nuts for a rewind and I feel like a champ
  9. I am definitely interested
  10. Is it terrible that I have never heard the original mix of this track? shiiiieeeeetttttttt my totd:
  11. Sick man, I will be stoked to hear it! Ive really gotta invest in some good distortion units, its been tough working only with fruity fast dist and blood overdrive. Keep me posted on your tunes man, I have found it kind of difficult to find other artists in the scene especially being in California.
  12. thanks man, im trying to come up with a hard dance EP to send around heres some of the themes from the second track which is still just ideas at this point if anyone wants to have a go http://soundcloud.com/sweetish/untitled/s-pMC8z
  13. I havent found much info on floors for monitoring i my searches but I think its because the part of the room that is the most crucial are your first reflection points and since your ears point sideways the walls are going to make a much bigger impact than the floor. I dont know how well carpet works for sound dampening but if it does, I would go with wood just because you wouldn't want acoustic foam to cover your whole wall so why the floor. Just my two cents but if I'm wrong someone tell me haha
  14. dude these are dope! im stoked on it
  15. thanks a ton bruv, I appreciate it
  16. haha BAWSS, im stoked for this one
  17. nicee man, keep with it the track def has potential! Worlds better than my first attempts for sure too My only comment would be that the sub sounds pretty widened but that may just be my headphones
  18. Not to bite off Bonz's thread but I'm looking for some vocals too haha, the only difference is I'm trying to get that hard dance style. I have been trying to make hardstyle tracks for a while now and I have a WIP that I'm pretty stoked on but I would really like to add some words. I tried to do my own but I'm a shit lyricist and it turned out sounding ridiculous. If any of you or people you know are keen on this genre and would like to collab on this let me know. I know its not as hot as doing a dubstep track but even if i could get some original samples to chop and screw that would be epic. Track is below if you want to check it out. http://soundcloud.com/sweetish/needs-epic-vox/s-LovjZ
  19. tuned in just as dragonborn was starting, it is a sign
  20. Ive been working on a hardstyle side project for a while now and Ive got my first track that I am really happy with now. Check it out! http://soundcloud.com/steinholt/steinholt-hello-world-clip
  21. super clean as always! Im liking it a lot
  22. yeah man, if you have the coin i'd say get them all. Isn't massive normally $199 by itself? How are you liking Razor Legunner? It looks pretty sick on the NI videos
  23. haha yeah man, with tons of pitching and stuff. even the bros dont recognize its me
  24. new track, its a chill one http://soundcloud.com/sweetish/sweetish-konge EDIT: and in the interest of not creating more threads heres something else ive been dicking around with since i figured out how to use my laptop mic haha http://soundcloud.com/sweetish/sweetish-sad-song-for-a-bad-1
