yeah I wasnt sure about the drums in the intro since the synth is in 6/8 and the percussions in 4/4, didnt know if the polyrhythm worked or not. its tough when you get so intro a track and hear it so much so im glad to get some feedback on that and the second one does sound like iron man haha, I didnt do it on purpose honestly, in fact i changed some stuff once I realized it because i was worried it was too similar. The reason Im doing this too is because Ive got a small label down to release some tracks If i come up with a sick enough EP but its kind of whack because now Im all worried about trying to live up to what they want instead of making tracks for fun, kind of a different ballgame

Cuz even if were not running the same one we could just send clips back and forth but then one of us would be in charge of getting it all together and mixing/cleaning it up. Ive always been down to collabo but every time someone brings it up it doesnt end up happening I think itd be sick tho, hit me up with a pm on soundcloud if you want to try it out bruv!

sick sick, Im leaning towards a Numark MixTrack since its on sale at guitar center for $140. It comes with traktor le too. all the reviews said pretty much the same thing as you did about your bcd3000 except it doesnt come with a built in soundcard

Im trying to get a legit EP going to master and put out for fun. Ive got two tracks in the works so far: Wizard Sticks by SWEETISH The Brodown by SWEETISH Comments? Suggestions? Critiques? Any positive and especially negative feedback would be great I want to make it super official

So this post is gonna make me look like a total scrub but Im looking to get my first dj controller. Ive been using only my computer with that free virtual DJ program but people obviously get really disappointed when I show up just with a laptop haha. Im pretty strapped for cash so I figured going with a controller might be the cheap way to be slightly more legit. so heres my n00b questions If I get a controller am I gonna have to buy a new dj program or will virtual DJ be compatible? Any recommendations? Does anyone have any other cheap suggestions for setups?

haha thanks man! I tried doing a collabo with me using fl and my buddy using ableton once, we sat in a room making samples and passing a flash drive back and forth til we both decided we hated our basses and gave up cuz we couldnt change em and didnt want to start over

I did what you said and threw in a multiband compressor with a boosted high end before the maximizer and it helped a lot actually
