Just placed my order for the Pioneer 350 pack so woohoo to me. DJWarehouse didn't have it in stock so I ordered it from StoreDJ instead, which means no free headphones, but i'm still MEGA stoked. I was wondering whether I need an amplifier to connect the mixer to the speakers though, or if you can just plug straight from the mixer to the speakers. What's the dealio?

I think I changed my mind. I might save up a while longer and get the Pioneer 350 Package (2 x CDJ350, 1 x DJM350). Both Storedj and DJwarehouse have it in stock for almost exactly the same price and both offer free shipping, BUT, the djwarehouse pack comes with a free pair of headphones and the other doesn't, or least it says it doesn't. Does anyone know if all 350 packs are meant to come with a free set of headphones? Also, djwarehouse state that "this pack is currently only available in the MELBOURNE DJ Warehouse store," however it'd still be available for purchase if i order it online right?

I'd say I actually prefer the more chilled variety of dustep to the crunchier stuff, though i've barely explored the genre so that could change over time. That remix is sick btw. Thanks for sharing.

I was just going to order it online, as Leichhardt is a fair trek away, plus shipping is free. Are all the leads required usually included when buying a CDJ or mixer, or do you have to buy them seperately?

haha, yeah I was only lurking a bit as I was trying to not get too distracted due to exams, but now that they're over, all is sweet. Yeah, trance probably makes up most of my listening. Still have a lot of the genre to explore though.

Yo broheims! Keen newb here hailing from Sydney looking to get some equipment so I've got something fun to do when the surf is shit and I'm sick of playing drums and guitar. Was looking at the 2 x CDJ350 + Denon DNX120 mixer pack from DJwarehouse for a starter set which I can hopefully have my hands on before x-mas. Pretty clueless when it comes to genres and subgenres, but I've recently been getting into heaps of Sean Tyas, Astral Projection, Vibrasphere, Abakus, Carbon Based Lifeforms, Afrojack, Tiesto, Solar Fields, Ott and that's all I can thing of right now. Look foward to contributing to this site, but bye for now.
