Try searching Zedd bass tutorials coz it sounds like a variation on his signature bass style. Also try using the deepthroat wavetable.

It's the same with Logic too. You have to click and drag the Vel macro into the box that says SC under amp mod: I wish it was set automatically, so annoying changing it every time.

Best features for me is the jog wheel, feels so natural and I love the response of it. The feel of the buttons and faders also are really nice, except the faders don't click and lock in to place at 0.00% like they do on the pioneer controllers. I also don't like the gain knobs of the individual channels is endless (don't know the proper term for this, they just keep turning I mean), but apart from that it is really good, compact and the layout is awesome.

I wouldnt recommend HD-25s as they colour the sound a fair bit but then again Tommy Trash uses them.

Good monitors will give you a flat, accurate sound, given you set them up at ear level and in the proper location. If your setup is in a corner where bass energy gathers you will be getting way too much bass, but this is more of an issue for producing. Still doesn't hurt to setup properly though for mixing.
