http://kunz.corrupt.ch/products/tal-noisemaker this plugin is free and has a heaps good white noise preset which you can change a fair bit using the envelope editor e.g. adjusting length, whether it sweep up or down etc. think the preset is called clean noise ramp or something like that. if that doesn't work, vengeance packs have pretty much everything so have a look for some of them.

back from my gig, and am tired as fuck but ill post now before i forget. got there at 6:30, meet the parents, talked, blah, blah etc. they showed me where i was playing and was likeee sicccck coz there was a mad view overlooking the pool and u can see the blue mountains in the distance and stuff. 6:35: start setting my gear up, got it up and running by 7 and start playing prog house, and like dirtyloud's less intense tracks etc. 7:30: some chick was like "playyyy LMFAO!!!!!!!" and i'm like nah, ill wait till it gets dark and ill get my lights cranking, but i started to play more mainstream stuff but of the more chilled kind. 8:15: this is when it got dark, so i got my lights going and played champagne showers then played mainstream bangers till bout around 10 10:00: stopped playing music, coz they sung happy birthday and brought out cake and whatnot, had a bit of a break and talked. 10:15: more mainstream/bangers etc. 11:00: by this time, a fair few people had left to go home, so the dance floor was pretty much empty, so i chuck on hobberz latest mix and its still empty 11:30: hobberz mix ends so i start mixing some more and few people dance one last time. 12:15: the power randomly goes out so the music/lights stop, takes like 5mins to get going then i start playing more my kind of music but only quietly. 12:30: finish playing, start packing up, say goodbye etc. 1:00: drive home 2:00: have shower 2:30: finish typing this heaps fun night tho, and i got 50 more than i expected so yay song of the night = Duck Sauce - Big Bad wolf (Dada Life Remix)! soooooooo fun to mix

i know me and jonny use logic, but who else does. swear the amount of people using ableton outnumbers the logic users on here by heaps.

right click a track, then select "get info" and it should display the bit rate.
