Also, I'd add if you want me be a "DJ", learn how to mix tunes first, before worrying about names, mobile or club, podcasts, etc. I think JonnyB mentioned it elsewhere, but make sure you have your priorities in order.

I suggest you do the same Sol. But yeah, stay away from the MDex. Look at the 200's and a basic 2 channel mixer.

gotta agree with this sol, i no you do need some lighting for party's but i deffinately would have gone for good decks before hand...not to good obviously because you dont want cdj2000's getting wrecked at a party ahh, just letting you know, I only spent $250 on lights. If you added up all the cash you spent on lights, speakers, etc, and added that to the total you spent on your MDex, you could have a pretty decent set up.
