900's with an 800 or even a 700 would be fine, and considerably cheaper.

But do you need all the extra functions? Or would you get by using CDJ 1000's and an 800 mixer? (Which is still a fucking good set up). Just remember, having $6k worth of equipment wont make you a better DJ.

WHY do you need such high quality gear? If you're just starting out, look at something like the 350 pack, but if you really want full size platters, 1000's, 900's or 850's will more than cater for your needs.

You should have made it shorter and wider, and it would look better.

They had to make the platters smaller so they could fit a sync button onto it. But, if it serves its purpose then that's the main thing.

Sticky tape or bust. But seriously, find the CD's that work, and just burn them like that. Alternatively, clean the laser. And if all else fails, water.

I might try a different Vista disc and see if that works. Would I be able to use the disc I got with my Dell if the laptop is Toshiba, and then just download the drivers?

Hi all, I tried formatting the girlfriends computer last night, and fucked it up. Now it wont even start up, or let me boot from the Vista install disc. Can anyone suggest any programs that I can burn to CD, and then boot from to format from there?
