  1. Still keen on the Friday-Monday idea Andy? Yo, i'd be keen on something like this, make a mini-getaway for it. Should a few lads start talking some serious accomodation sharing or something let me know. Ive heard the Sydney YHA Backpackers is sick. If we get proper numbers soon we should book a dorm. 6 man share room, $37 night or there a bouts. Get 6 and lets lock that shit in haha.
  2. Nice mate. Tempo a bit quicker than I thought it would be, but solid effort!

  9. I'm a bit the same. I have maybe one or two mates that come to things with me and the rest sit at home and be fags. And if they do come, it's just so they can eat their body weight in drugs ane dance around like a tard.
  10. Alright, as we near the end of 2011 we've seen some great internationals grace our shores and play some mind blowing sets. Some that stand out for me in particular were Radio Slave @ Revolver, Tensnake @ Parklife & Carl Cox @ Billboard. I'm hoping that 2012 is another good one, and if I'm lucky, I'd love to see Eric Prydz/Pryda/Cirez D, Richie Hawtin & Maya Jane Coles. So what I'm asking, is who were your standouts, and who do you want to see in the land of Oz (or wherever you post from) next year?

Alumbra, Hardware // Totem and Konkrete present HARBOURSIDE 2012 Australia Day Thursday 26th January Shed 14 Central Pier 1pm - 10pm Laidback Luke Derrick Carter Bart B More Roger Seventytwo Nadastrom Sandro Silva Kaz James Helena (Syd) Rob Pix Steve Bleas Andee Frost Simon Digby Ross Horkings Frankie D Torren Foot James Belias Bianca White Mike Steva Harbourside Harbourside on Australia Day is a Melbourne summer event focussing on house and club music in one of the best settings in Melbounre, by the Harbour at the famous Shed 14. Join us in this boutique setting for a day of fantastic music! Laidback Luke Dutch dynamo Laidback Luke is so happening that it's enough to make you dizzy. Blasting your bass-bins with blockbuster beats, making your head spin with his hybrid house styles and even cramping up your hands as you scroll down his discography! Hes worked with David Guetta, Diplo, A-Trak, Steve Aoki and Lil Jon, and remixed everyone from Black Eyed Peas to Calvin Harris and from Christina Aguilera to Moby. Sure his name is Laidback, however when the musics jumping he is anything but Bart B More Bart B More, has quickly become one of the brightest stars in the scene. He has consistently been crafting dance floor destroyers that have received massive support from the most prominent DJs around the world. He smashes major festivals and the best clubs world wide, with a high intensity big room house and electro sound that is guaranteed to shake Harbour Side. His releases including Sneaky Sound System's "We Love", Teenage Bad Girl's "X-Girl" and Cee-Lo Green's "Fuck You" and Bart also boasts remix credits for Tiesto, Drop The Lime, Crookers, Martin Solveig, Sandy Rivera, ATFC and Tommie Sunshine more recently. Derrick Carter A much-lauded musical hero of the early 90s house music movement and widely acknowledged as one of the best DJs in the world, Derrick Carter is a man in demand and a regular visitor to our shores. With innovative productions, flawless technical skills and an effortlessly joyful attitude of rocking a crowd, his influence has infiltrated throughout the spectrum of dance music. Derrick's sets are rooted in house, but he freely travels outside conformist club tastes, seamlessly incorporating old-school disco, soul, jazz, and whatever else catches his fancy to jack the beat and rock the party. Derrick works the big rooms with the ease you'd expect of this dance music icon and veteran. Don't miss Derrick Carter at Harbour Side. Nadastrom The Washington DC duo's live show was once famously described as "the dance-music equivalent of the mythical Spinal Tap amplifier that goes to 11" and Nadastrom are known for pushing a hyper-intense club sound to packed floors the world over. Much lauded by clubbers and taste-makers alike, this duo should be on everyone's must-see list for Harbour Side. Sandro Silva Taken under Laidback Luke's wing, Sandro Silva's talent has not gone unnoticed by some of our scene's biggest stars, giving the Dutchman a rapid rise in DJ Land. His release, Prom Night was featured as an Essential Choice on Pete Tongs BBC radio show. Sandro continues to experiment with new sounds and genres keeping his sound fresh and innovative. A new Dutch star is definitely in the making! Rogerseventytwo Hailing from The Hague, Netherlands, R72 propelled himself onto radio airwaves with his irresistible disco house singalong 'You Take Me Higher'. The cracking tune went unsigned for months and months until A-Trak (who had made it a staple of his live sets, both solo and as Duck Sauce with Armand Van Helden) snapped it up for Fools Gold Records. As they say, the rest is history. http://www.moshtix.com.au/event.aspx?id=52732
