I think you should invest your time and effort into practicing on your CDJ's dude. Having all the DJ things doesn't make you a better DJ, it's a passion for the music and the "want to learn" attitude that will benefit you in the long run. As for using them as a backup setup, you'll rarely use them and you have your BCD should anything go wrong.
