Audio out for my mixer is RCA so would most powered speakers generally have RCA in? And i guessing if this is so, would i just make one speaker a slave to the other via RCA out? Also, once i do get a sub woofer for the below 150Hz sounds how would i go incorporating that into the system? If you're doing weddings, do you really need a sub? My thoughts anyway!

Ah, you're NSW. Well speaking as a Victorian, I think more for convenience sake, it would be alot easier to break into the club seen playing CD's. Once established, I think there would be alot more flexibility to add controllers, funny hats, serato, & masks.

TBH, I've only seen very few people play with laptops (Traktor/Serato) in clubs, and those that did were big name internationals. If you're just playing local, it's uncommon to see anything other than a pair of CDJ's and a mixer.

You CAN get booked playing with a controller, but it's much less hastle if you just play with CDJ's. I have a friend that's done both, and he's getting twice as many gigs now that his S4 has been ditched for a pair of 1000's.

Played my first club gig last night. Nerve racking, but so much fun! Played an hour of funky house, which was sick. Only problem was the shithouse monitor behind me which made mixing quite difficult! Overall, awesome experience. There is nothing better than seeing people grooving to your tunes. Cant wait to do it again
