  1. A project that i've been working on for a while. I'm not sure if its finished yet, but im tempted to leave it at that, mostly because my computer cant actually playback the DAW file anymore haha. Anyways, im pretty happy with it. Let us know what you think. http://soundcloud.com/haydo12/the-hollow-man
  2. Awesome idea, count me in fo sho
  3. hahaha good call! if only i knew how to collaborate. u collaborated before sweetish? Never to completion haha, what DAW do you run? Cuz even if were not running the same one we could just send clips back and forth but then one of us would be in charge of getting it all together and mixing/cleaning it up. Ive always been down to collabo but every time someone brings it up it doesnt end up happening I think itd be sick tho, hit me up with a pm on soundcloud if you want to try it out bruv! Haha the infamous "clip swapping" colab. In my limited experience, it was a complete failure. Mainly because u essentially cant change anything. They send u a drum pattern, u either hav to slice it up and change it, or send them a msg describing how u think it should be different. Even harder with basslines. Regardless i think u should give it a go, im keen to hear the musical love child that would come about from the collaboration of ur skills.
  4. Haha i've done that exact thing before. Its just silly. I use Fl studio too, dont spose u live in bris?
  5. One thing that might work is running a parallel instance of biohazard just for the high end. try some different waveforms, maybe use less voices or less unison detune to give a cleaner sound, then run it through the same processing (except for the EQ obviously) so the 2 synths work as one. I was actually reading an interview with Excision where he said he often uses up to 3 or 4 layers of Massive, Albino and Z3ta+ to create some of his sounds.
  6. cheers guys
  7. so much love for Scrapyard Carbon also gives some twisted sounds
  8. A remix i did with some vocals by a local producer BE Beatz A Precious Gift (Haydos Remix) - BE Beatz by Haydos And a new heavy track Fuck Eyed by Haydos
  9. cheers, i'm glad u like it
  10. A little dubstep experiment i've been working on. Making basslines with a boobload of feedback plugins on everything. Theres still a few little clicks and pops that i cant get rid of, but overall, got some really cool sounds i think. One Note Bass by Haydos
  11. This is epic dude, nice work. Just need to punch those drums through the wall of bass a little more.
  12. oh no... it happened. House step.
  13. . im guessing this is the case because you can basically go out anywhere to hear house? This is true, but mainly its just cause we hate it. No offence, just personal preference.
  14. PM'd u my facebook. What sort of music do u play/ do u have a demo mix or something u could send me?
  15. ahhhhk. Well PM me ur email and wen i get home tonight i'll whack all the stuff we've got so far into a big ol' email to bring you up to speed.

  17. Yeah mate we're open to anything, send us a demo. soundcloud.com/haydo12
  18. Because everyones waiting for someone else to make it happen..
  19. Cheers man, hopefully we can start something great. There's been a few attempts to get this sorta thing off the ground in the last few years, but their main hang-ups have been with noise complaints, so then the cops find arbitrary reasons to shut them down, which is why we're sussing out prime industrial locations. And i really know nothing about garage, but i didnt think it used a 4x4 beat? Edit: Wikipedia has extended my knowledge yet again. Never knew garage was house haha, i guess i meant house as in general club music (house, electro house, tech house etc) I'd be suprised if anyone actually sent me a "garage house" mix anyways.
  20. Hi all, We're putting together a small promo company in Brisbane, we'll be organising warehouse parties aimed at promoting up and coming local dj's and producers. What we stand for - Not run for profit (bare minimum donation for entry, BYO alcohol) - Music - We're pushing dubstep as this is the scene most of our organisers are involved in. But we love any genre that isnt house (minimal, glitch, dnb, garage, psytrance, etc) - Quasi-legal Events - We're ticking all the boxes for a legal event, but it will be run like a true underground warehouse party, by the people, for the people. Interested in having a spin at one of our gigs or even getting involved with our company? Get in touch with me. Send me a demo mix to show us what you've got, some original tracks if you're a producer, or tell us what you would bring to our company. Otherwise, take it easy folks, Regards, Hayden.
  21. nice man, really liking ur synth work.
  22. Some dark and murky dub that me and my mate have been making. Went for that old school dub sound with a smooth rolling bassline, rather than hectic in ur face filth. Any feedback would b great. The Blob - Haydos & Hazza by Haydos
  23. i feel wat ur saying, random and disjointed was wat i was going for obviously, but the sample doesnt really fit with the rest.
  24. So i've been working on something a bit weird and experimental. I'm guna call it glitchstep. Cold Blood - Haydos by Haydos
  25. lol the facial expression at 1:20, priceless bass face
