  1. JFB uses one!! n hes like a controllers worst nightmare,
  2. If it crackles n shit when playing through serato, its more than likely a soundcard/software issue or bad cable, rather than stylus or signal from the vinyl. usually a bad needle only gives u tracking problems. not sure with serato but traktor has a calibration thingy where it makes a circle if u got good signal, and goes all wonky if its bad
  3. it doesnt really matter what combo u have, the socket in the wall is only good for 10 amps. if ur boards are all relativiely new, they will have overload protection anyway. so the one plugged into the wall will just trip off if it reaches 10A
  4. all ur stuff should have a power rating in watts somewhere near the power cord. add all of em together, if the number is less than 2400 and your in australia your sweet
  5. what u running on it
  6. I bet u were one of those freak kids who could finish tetris. I cant fit shit in my jimny
  7. yeah the buttons feel loose, saying that i never had one fuck up. I never used it with software, theres videos on youtube where people use it as a controller for serato and abelton
  8. the vmx1000 is a shitbox! every time one is sold, an african child dies. I had one of the old type years ago without usb. it ruined my life. DDM4000 is by far the best mixer behringer have made, people seriously underestimate it because of its name. its built pretty tough and in terms of flexibility, it can do just about anything a mixer can do. if your concerned about quality i'd stay clear of audioline and numark (personal opinion). might be worth shopping around, I got a DDM4000 from store dj for under 500 bucks about 2 years ago
  9. yeah 150s, sic! I got straight arms and never had a problem or noise, but I heard of people having trouble with the top screw in the pivot thingy being loose from factory, and vibrates n shit when scratching or cueing, they said they just gave her a little tweak with a screw driver and all was sweet
  10. dang bro, those bad boys should hang on like a mother fucker with anti skate on 0! first off, set fire to your instructions, then set ur tone arm height so the arm is paralell to the record when its on the record, then leave the stylus on the record over night to bed it in. also check there is no loose play at all in the tone arm but still moves freely, and the cart is aligned straight in the headshell. if it still skips its either a tone arm alignment issue, a cactus needle or an act of god. oh also check the cart isnt loose in the arm and ur vinyl isnt rooted
  11. nah they went with the mixer bro
  12. the ddm400 is gone eddie, but they're cheap as fuck brand new! i think store dj has em for about 450. cdj 350 still up for grabs. I decided to keep the 900s so I can turn this house in to a 24/7 club
  13. check here again at christmas time, il be pretty much giving shit away! unless my instant scratchy plan works out
  14. haha its a better offer than my workmate, he wanted 1 for a carton of beer! after 4 hours negotiation I got him up to spirits
  15. sorry chev, double it and its yours!
