Hey guys, Yes, as the title suggest I am on my way to TAKING OVER THE WORLD!!! of djing, that & I am from Perth, WA. I'm 19 years old, I'm into Hip-Hop, Dubstep & Dance/Club/Party music, I like long walks on the beach. I am yet to own any mixing equipment but I have started to plan my Set-Up, with the first part of my "Build" coming in January. I've put a Stanton 2.1 DJ Lab (2x Stanton T62s, 1x M.212 Mixer, 1x PRO90 H/Ps, 2x 500B Carts). Once I've learnt to use these, & probably after my return from Bali, I plan to go out and purchase Traktor Scratch Pro. After a few months of over time at work, I'll head out and buy a set of Berhinger B212D 12” 550w. That, along with my P.O.S Acer Laptop will be my "Basic/Beginning set up". I'd also like to spoil myself & go and purchase a Traktor X1 Control Years down the track, after doing Parties & Weddings, I'll look into upgrading pretty much everything in this system. (Probably leave the TTs, unless they're really REALLY bad). I'm thinking new lappy (Macbook Pro), new mixer (Numark M3), new h/ps (beats by Dre.) If you have any suggestions, please feel free to make an input AND WATCH THIS SPACE FOR MORE UPDATES!

Well, I've seen them going for $699 for the pack, & traktors like $380?? or so. Already have a lappy that will be a temp. & just some speakers for home use atm. I should mention that I am planning on upgrading the needles cause I hear the stock ones are shit house

Yeah, I originally ment to say Scratch Pro not Duo. Had Duo in my head for some reason. I'm looking @ Hip Hop & Dubstep & Clubbing and stuff. So I am planning on scratching a bit, not too much though,

I am interested to know if anybody is using this set up/played with it in the past, opinions on it? Essentially any information or advice you can give me on this set up. I am highly interested in this set-up. I went and saw the guy at The DJ Factory in Perth and they recommend, for a begginer who has never had any experience in DJing that this, along with Traktor Scratch Duo, is the beez kneez.
