  1. Hi Guys, Just got a pair of JBL monitors (LSR2300 series), and am looking for a way to mount them. Apparently they have "standard" mounting holes on the base to support any "standard" mount. However, I am finding it impossible to find such mounts. The best I have come across are these:http://www.amazon.com/VideoSecu-Clamping-Mounting-Surrounding-MS56B/dp/B000X9O8SI/ref=pd_rhf_se_p_t_1_6ESE However I would like to secure the speakers... without drilling into the side of the speakers! Does anybody know where I could pick up some wall mounts that use the "standard" mounting holes? Cheers Gareth
  2. Goddamn credit limits >
  3. So driving a WRX STi is driving on a budget cause it's cheaper than a BMW M3
  4. I used to work at an IT company and our boss ALWAYS said this "mate, we're here to make money, not friends".
  5. I'm getting out the razors now...
  6. Yeah, my Android phone has 2GB internal storage but I can slot a 32Gb (micro) SD card in there to max it out. All for a butt-load less than an iPhone. Having said that, iPhone 5, here I come... when Apple releases it.
  7. I believe the Lord Jobs is still claiming OSX is the most secure on the planet as this particular malware "requires user interaction to install". In other words, denial there is a problem. ANY system can get a virus, malware or whatever. The only way to ensure your computer never gets a virus is to leave it turned off and unplugged. Still, love watching the Mac fanbois charging to the defence of the their beloved saviour and his company. Classic.
  8. Motorola xoom... the ipad killer Does the SD card work? In the US and Europe, inital batches of the Xoom had a non-functioning SD slot.
  9. awww shit... awesome. time to damage some plastic.
  10. goddamn, they've dropped so much in price in the last 6 months it's not fucken funny. I'd have got two of these at this price.
  11. You sure can - that kind of gave me the idea. But I doubt many people here would be using iTunes to DJ a party Plus it's mostly about me learning mobile device programming,
  12. OK, as you guys may know by now I'm a massive nerd/geek. I'm currently teaching myself to program Android and BlackBerry handsets/tablets and will be learning iOS later this year, early next year. Anyway, had an idea for an app that would help me learn these things while also may help the mobile DJ. The way I'm thinking it would work is you have a laptop and a wireless access point (make sure you get all the pr0n off the laptop first) that has an app running with you full track list. This app listens for and responds to requests from mobile devices on the wireless network and obviously, the wireless has no internet access. You hand out or display details of the wireless network at the gig and instructions on downloading, installing the mobile device app. For the mobile devices, the user can install a small application that allows them to browse/search your tracklist and send requests to the laptop. On the laptop, you will have a real-time view of requests coming in and be able to sort by most requested, requestor etc. So App On Laptop: * Responds to queries/search requests from mobile handsets * Displays ream-time requests or most-requested song/artist etc App on Mobile Device: * Requests track listing from laptop * Sends track requests to laptop Not saying I'll actually get it up and running but it could be interesting if I do. Any thoughts?
  13. I sooo didn't need to see that again....
