As most if they charge $2 a km its one way only (this way it wont scare the client) or if the town is 235km away tell them thats your travel charge from Post office to post office thats how the roads dept does it... plus you paying 1.55c a litre for city wait till you get to a town that charges $1.80c or more for petrol! and its not about claiming tax dollars (you can do that well after the function) but you have no idea how to charge for travel - this is what its all about not tax, not wages its travel go do courier work for 3months and then try and get travel charges from that the company wouldnt even employ you.... you have to work it all out way before hand if its too high you will be told if its too low you lose money - when you have sorted out the money (or ring other local dj's you dont know to ask if they would do a show say 300km away in (said town) and you want a rough price on show cost and travel charges, then you might with luck work it out) but its all on how you want too do it all
